Poetry is part of who I am, part of how I see the world. It is spatial; it exists, as language does, in all four dimensions. Poets work from within that space, from inside language.

Language is a place in which we humans reside, that shelters us by providing a mythology and logic that is embedded within the grammar: the organization, or the syntax of it.

Language is culture. Poetry is the purest expression of it.
